About Membership
- Adur Collective Community Land Trust Limited (ACCLT) is a Community Benefit Society (CBS) registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
- ACCLT has been set up for the benefit of the community and has a legal asset lock. Importantly, this means any assets (e.g. properties) of ACCLT can never be cashed in by or transferred to private individuals or other companies for their own advantage
- ACCLT is a membership organisation which means that the members of ACCLT control it
- Members elect a management board. Individual members or a representative of business members may stand for election to the board
- All members have one equal vote, regardless of the number and type of shares they hold.
- Membership shares have no dividends or bonus value.
Individual Membership
Individual membership is open to anyone 18+ living and/or working in Adur*
Individual members must purchase a minimum of one membership share in ACCLT at the cost of £1 for life.
There is no limit on the number of shares that individuals can buy. Buying multiple shares is a great way to support the development of community-led affordable homes. Please email info@acclt.org to arrange a bank transfer.
* Adur = the area covered by Adur District Council .
Business Membership
Business membership is open to businesses and organisations based or operating in Adur*
Business members must purchase atleast one business share in ACCLT at the cost of £10 for life.
There is no limit on the number of shares that a business can buy. Buying multiple shares is a great way to support the development of community-led affordable homes. Please email info@acclt.org to arrange a bank transfer.

To join simply 1) complete the registration form below and 2) pay using the PayPal button. Please ensure you complete both steps. Unfortunately, we can only accept digital payments via PayPal. Alternatively, download a registration form here and drop it and your payment off at our registered address which you can find here.
